The Summary Proceedings Amendment Act (No 2) 2008 has seen a new committal process take effect for those with charges laid after 29 June 2009.
The Chief High Court Judge, Justice Randerson, and the Chief District Court Judge, Justice Johnson, have agreed on a new process in light of the changes instituted by the Summary Proceedings Amendment Act (No2) 2008.
