2017 Annual Conference - Partner options
Only members may attend the Conference sessions. Partners may however purchase tickets to attend the optional activities and dinners. After you have booked your conference ticket complete a form to book your partner's dinners and/or activities.
Dinners:
Wither Hills casual dinner - Friday 15 September 2017 - Partner ticket price $150.00 (incl. GST)
The Friday night casual dinner is a great way to ease into the social aspects of the conference and catch up with friends and colleagues. The dinner will be held at Wither Hills, where you will be treated to pre dinner drinks in the Barrel Hall, before moving upstairs to the restaurant for seasonal, local food and beverages. Please refer to the Additional Details on the right hand side of this page for information on transfers and times.

Omaka Aviation Centre formal dinner - Saturday 16 September 2017 - Partner ticket price $190.00 (incl. GST)
This black tie dinner will be held at the Omaka Heritage Centre. Wining and dining in this spectacular setting will certainly finish the conference on a high note. On arrival, you will be treated to pre-dinner drinks. You will be able to watch the moving and powerful Stalingrad Experience, before making your way through the Eastern Front space to dine among the aircraft in the WWII display.
Please note the Stalingrad Experience may distress some people. If you have any concerns about seeing this please advise staff when you arrive at Omaka.
Our guest speaker at the dinner will be the Hon. Justice Joe Williams.

Membership Criteria
Full membership of the NZBA is open to every person who is the holder of a current New Zealand practising certificate as a Barrister Sole.
In some circumstances, persons other than barristers sole may become Associate Members of the NZBA

Transport:
Transfers are included. Transport to both Wither Hills and Omaka will begin departure from Chateau Marlborough Hotel at 6.15pm both Friday and Saturday nights. The buses will return delegates to centrally located hotels after the dinner from approximately 10.00pm.
Transfers for all optional activities will depart the Marlborough Convention Centre at 1.00pm on Saturday 16 September 2017 and return to centrally located hotels at 5.00pm.

Prices are listed in NZ$ and include GST.
Prices do not include accommodation or travel.
Cancellation and Alteration Policy
Cancellations
If partners are unable to attend booked optional activities or dinners please contact the NZBA in writing by Monday 11 September 2017 to receive a partial refund of the ticket price. Click here to contact the NZBA.
Alterations
While every effort will be made to conduct this conference according to the programme, the NZBA reserves the right to vary, amend or cancel any part of the conference if circumstances arise which require such action and the NZBA shall not be held responsible for any loss, liability, damage or expense suffered or incurred by any person as a consequence.
