Judicial Appointment - Judge Melinda Broek
Chief District Court Judge Taumaunu has advised that Melinda Broek of Dunedin has been appointed as a District Court Judge.
Judge Broek will be sworn in at the Dunedin District Court at 4.00pm on 23 June 2020.
Due to the COVID-19 Alert Level 2 restrictions the numbers allowed to attend the ceremony may be restricted. The court is looking at setting up a zoom or VMR attendance to allow for members of the profession to attend virtually and the information to join this virtually will be made available when we have them.
The NZBA congratulates Judge Broek on her appointment.
