The Chief Justice and Higher Courts Judges invite NZBA members to attend a ceremonial sitting to welcome the Hon. Justice Grice to the High Court Bench.
The swearing-in ceremony will be in Wellington at the No. 1 ceremonial High Court, on Thursday 1 February at 11.00am.
Please arrive by 10.45am to allow time for seating. Please note that due to ongoing work at the Court, the Stout Street entrance to the Court may be closed. Members are asked to enter the building via the Ballance Street entrance. A security guard will be on hand to direct people through to the Court.
Dress is full ceremonial (wigs and gowns).
