Season's Greetings | Ngā mihi o te wā
Another year has passed with its challenges and its successes. While it has not been an easy year, we have seen members supporting each other and showing real kindness. 
To mark the end of this year, and to celebrate the holiday season, we made a donation on behalf of our members, Council, staff, partners, sponsors and stakeholders, to the KidsCan charity. This donation is equivalent to the amount that we would normally spend on buying, writing, and posting Christmas cards.
This is the third year in a row that the Bar Association has donated to KidsCan NZ Charitable Trust, which is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading charity dedicated to helping Kiwi kids affected by poverty. It provides the essentials so they can participate in learning and have an opportunity for a better future. We have all enjoyed the benefits of our education. This is a chance for us to help others achieve the same.
Thank you all for your support of the Bar Association over the last year. It is your support and membership that allows us to do the work we do for you as members, for the profession and the community we serve. We have great plans for 2023 and lots of work to do with your input and support next year.
