The Chief Justice and Higher Courts Judges invite members of the NZBA to attend a ceremonial sitting to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the opening of the Auckland High Court.
This ceremony will be held in the No. 1 Courtroom, Auckland High Court, Waterloo Quadrant, Auckland on Friday 2 March 2018 at 3.30pm.
Following the sitting there will be a formal photograph of the Bench and all practitioners in attendance. It is hoped that the photo will follow the same format as the 100th anniversary sitting of 1968.
Dress for this ceremony is full ceremonial - gowns (and wigs if available).
QCs are requested to RSVP to the NZBA.
