2018 Annual Conference Optional Activity - Monster Truck, Skeet Shooting, Go Karting
Spend the free afternoon completing three fun activities. Be thrilled by the monster truck four-wheel drive. Challenge yourself with some clay bird shooting and speed your way around the internationally recognised go-kart track in a go-kart that can reach 100kms per hour.
Off Road NZ is located on a beautiful NZ native bush-clad property on the Mamaku Plateau, just 20 minutes north of Rotorua City. The rugged, formerly volcanic landscape offers diverse terrain for 4WD vehicles. Be thrilled by the Monster 4X4’s unique 4-wheel steering mechanism, which helps to power through New Zealand native bush, up and down near-vertical slopes tackling the ‘Widow Maker’ and the ‘Loggers Long Drop’. Challenge yourself with the more sedate clay bird shooting, then speed your way around the internationally recognised course at Off Road NZ with Raceline Karting's state-of-the-art karts that can hit 100km per hour on the 150m straight.
This activity is free for delegates who have purchased a Conference ticket, but you must still register as an attendee and add to cart to add this to your booking (below).

Each member may book one optional activity ticket.
Once you are at the conference changes to different optional activity may not be possible.
Special Equipment and Experience Level:
- Comfortable closed in walking shoes, warm clothes and rain gear.
- Equipment provided: Wet weather gear for Monster Truck (if needed), race suits for karting.
- Grade 2 - Easy - Relaxed activity - No significant fitness required. No serious obstacles.
Transport:
Transfers are included. A bus will leave from the Novotel at 1.00pm precisely and return you to the Novotel by 5.00pm.

Lunch:
A bagged lunch will be available at the hotel upon departure. Please collect it before you leave.

Cancellations
If you are unable to attend the conference, and have advised a substitute is attending in your place, that substitute can contact the NZBA in writing by Friday 14 September 2018 to change to an alternative optional activity prior to conference (subject to availability). Click here to contact the NZBA. No refunds are provided for optional activities.
While every effort will be made to conduct this conference according to the programme, the NZBA reserves the right to vary, amend or cancel any part of the conference if circumstances arise which require such action and the NZBA shall not be held responsible for any loss, liability, damage or expense suffered or incurred by any person as a consequence.
