The Chief Justice and Higher Courts Judges invite members of the NZBA to attend a ceremonial sitting to welcome the Hon. Justice Peter Churchman to the High Court Bench. Justice Churchman is based in Wellington and the swearing in ceremony will occur in Wellington.
The swearing in ceremony will be held in No. 1 ceremonial Old High Court, Stout Street, Wellington on Friday 23 June 2017 at 3.00pm. Guests are asked to arrive at 2.45pm. The ceremony will be followed by refreshments.
The dress for this ceremony is full ceremonial, wigs and gowns.
